AvoWho checks the quantities?
Our estimators. Every line is checked against your drawings before the package reaches you, and every line shows the sheet it was measured from and any assumption behind it.
Do I need any software?
No. You send drawings and get a finished package back: a workbook that opens in Excel, plus the assumptions and open questions. Nothing to install, no subscription, no training.
What do you measure today?
Residential plasterboard and painting in Queensland: walls and ceilings by board type (including water-resistant board in wet areas), openings from the door and window schedule, voids, square set or cornice, window reveals and door architraves, and paint areas. Other trades or states: ask us, and we will say before any fee whether we can do it properly.
What drawings do you need?
CAD-exported (vector) PDF plans for each level, sections or elevations that show ceiling heights, and the door and window schedule. A reflected ceiling plan helps where there are bulkheads or voids. Scanned drawings: ask us first.
How much does it cost?
A fee per package, quoted in writing for the confirmed scope before any work starts. No subscription and no lock-in. Founding builders keep their founding price for 12 months.
How long does it take?
We agree the delivery date with you before we start, set around your tender or pricing deadline.
What happens if a quantity looks wrong?
Tell us which line. Each line shows the sheet and the assumption behind it, so we can check it with you quickly. If it doesn’t match the agreed scope or your drawings, we correct it at no charge when you tell us within 7 days of delivery — up to three rounds of corrections per package.
Do you price the job for me?
We deliver quantities. Your rates, margins and tender decisions stay yours; if you want a priced estimate, we apply rates you supply or approve.
What happens when the drawings change?
Send the revised set. We re-measure it and show what changed, line by line and room by room, with the sheets that were revised. For our first five founding builders that re-measure is free; otherwise it is quoted before we start.
What happens to my drawings?
They are used only to prepare your package. They are stored in Sydney, access is by invitation with two-step sign-in, and they are not used to train AI models. Some AI processing may happen outside Australia. Please don’t put drawings or client details in the website form; we ask for drawings through a secure link.
